Former Australian cricketer Stuart Law will lead the Nepal men’s cricket team as head coach for the next two years. Law replaces Monty Desai, who completed his two-year tenure in February 2025.

Stuart Law brings extensive coaching experience, having worked with multiple international teams. He most recently coached the USA men’s team, where he played a key role in securing a historic T20I series victory over Bangladesh. Under his leadership, the USA earned a spot in the Super Eights of the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, the USA Cricket Board ended his tenure after just seven months in October 2024.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed Law’s appointment through a post on X (formerly Twitter):
